[Plugtest-org] ODF Plugfest agenda / things to clarify

I can confirm that, at least from Microsoft's perspective, I have been operating on the assumption that this Plugfest would be organized in much the same way that past events have been, and that Microsoft's role is twofold: First, as the host organization Microsoft will be providing the facilities in which we will meet (including equipment, Internet access, and catering), and second, as an implementer and community member Microsoft will offer to make a presentation regarding our ODF-related products, and participate in interoperability testing with other participants. It was not our expectation that as host we would enjoy special privileges to control the agenda, the potential participants to be invited, or the focus of the plugtesting. My understanding was that the Plugtest Organizers group has traditionally handled those elements of the events.

We are happy to step up to fill any gaps that may exist, but we do not want to overstep our bounds. Please let us know what additional preparation the group would like Microsoft to own, and we will do our best to accommodate.

Regarding Bart's specific questions:
1) Confirmation of the exact date and location (Microsoft building in Brussels ? address ?) of the event
	19-20 April, 2012
	Microsoft Executive Briefing Center
	Avenue des Nerviens 85
	1040 Brussels
	Belgium

2) Availability of the room(s): from x:xx AM till y:yy PM ?
	7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

3) Check of the required facilities: number of seats, beamer, power outlets, (wired or wireless) network allowing HTTP/HTTPS/SSH/IRC access
The plugfest will be held in the Rome room, which has seating capacity for up to 30.
	Internet access will be provided

4) Invitations: who / to whom / when
Is this a responsibility the Organizers want to delegate to Microsoft? Microsoft will be happy to provide official invitation letters to those who require such letters to support visa applications.

5) Program (so far: AsciiDOC ODF extension, ODF font embedding, product updates, maybe "Mobile" + no doubt presentations from Microsoft)
Microsoft would like to make a presentation covering our products that support ODF.

6) Microsoft contact person in Brussels
At this point please direct all communications to me.

I look forward to our discussion tomorrow.

Jim
