[Plugtest-org] Date change for the 8th ODF plugfest - April 19th/April 20th 2012

Dear all,


we have an important announcement to make. As you will know Microsoft
Corporation, home of Microsoft Office, will be kindly providing the
venue for the 8th ODF plugfest this spring. We were approached by Jim
Thatcher from the Microsoft team, who informed us that due to recent
personnel changes at the company the tentatively planned dates for the
8th plugfest would prevent them to have the right people from Redmond
attending.

Since it would be very impractical of the host not to be able to
attend the event it is hosting, especially when it is to announce
long-awaited support for the new version of ODF in its product line
(as Doug Mahugh hinted at earlier, and Bart Wessels' talk during the
last plugfest confirmed) the dates of the event will be shifted to one
week earlier. So the 8th ODF Plugfest will be held:

             April 19th/April 20th 2012.

We hope this does not cause you too much inconvenience or costs. If it
does, please contact me to see if we can help in some way. More
