Hello,

Officeshots has been extended to support ODF testsuites (an announcement
about this will follow). You can see the test suites by following the
"Galleries" link on the front page of Officeshots.

There are two changes for people who run factory clients:

1) Application names have changed

Instead of referring to individual applications, we now refer to full
office suites. E.g: "OpenOffice.org" instead of separate entries for
"OpenOffice.org Writer", "OpenOffice.org Calc" and "OpenOffice.org
Impress". This was done to make it easier to give a complete overview of
large test suites.

If you run a factory, please update your configuration. You need to
check your configuration on the server because it is likely that you now
have duplicate entries for applications. For example, there may be three
"OpenOffice.org" applications on your factory. You can simply delete the
duplicates.

Next, update your config.ini file and update the application names to
match the new naming schema. After this your factories will start
working again.

2) Opt-in for test suite participation

If you want, you can participate in the ODF test suites with your
applications. By default this is turned off because it involves hundreds
of documents and thousands of individual jobs.

To opt-in, go to your factory configuration on Officeshots.org, click on
one of your application names and check the checkbox for test suite
participation.

As soon as your factory runs stable (approx. 24 hours without any
downtime) your factory will be given test suite documents for the
applications that you selected.

Kind regards,
