[ODFPlugtest] MSO does not read LO files

A lot of warnings with OOo 3.3, but only one error:

upload:///A test docoo.odt/META-INF/manifest.xml[2,88]:Error:element
"manifest:manifest" is missing "version" attribute

And if I'm understanding things correctly, if that missing attribute error
is fixed then Office 2010 gives an error, because it is expecting ODF 1.1
which did not define that attribute.

LO fixed the validation error, but either never tested it with Office 2010
or decided that the error was acceptable.

How would you explain this to a user?
