the event in February you're referring to, would probably be FOSDEM ? That won't be a
plugfes: it's an open source developers event so commercial offerings can't be tested
there, and two events in Brussels might be a bit too much (a European Tour is more
appealing :-)

FOSDEM could be a good place to do a developer's session for developers of open source
ODF libraries (lpOD, ODF Toolkit etc)

For the second half of 2010, we'd like to do one in Brussels, either first week of July or in
September (as Belgium has the EU presidency in H2 2010).

Many congratulations and thanks to you both for your excellent and meticulous work.

We discussed a possible press/blog statement.  Can we work togehter to produce something suitable by tomorrow.  It wpuld indeed be great if we could announce the 5th Plugfest but that may be too soon.

We also need to tie down the arrangements for the next Plugfest.  Someone - Louis? - told me that you, Bart, were considering doing one in March alongside another event in Brussels.  I think this tag along policy is sound as it gives a chance to sell the importance and benefits of ODF to other communities.

We also mentioned a possible Plugfest in Denmark - that would be highly relevant.

I talked with Paulo Vitela, Treasurer, ESOP about one in Ebro University, Portugal.

Paulo Ohnewein would be very keen to host one in the South Tyrol.

I ma still hopping we can one in Spain.
